Giving Back to the Community

Giving Back to the Santa Cruz County Community

Beach House Rentals believes in giving back, so we do so wherever possible. Here are the local organizations we proudly support:

  • Taste of Santa Cruz
In partnership with Habitat for Humanity and SCCAOR (Santa Cruz County Association of Realtors)
  • Santa Cruz Symphony
  • Leading through creativity and excellence, our vision is to be a cornerstone of the performing arts in the Greater Monterey Bay and San Francisco Bay Areas, inspiring our community to embrace the importance of music in our lives through a variety of shared musical experiences and artistic excellence.
  • Twin Lake Christian School
Our goal is to teach students to love God, respect others, and be responsible citizens. Our credentialed Christian teachers use excellent teaching practices to increase student learning. Our students use meaningful problem solving activities to develop critical thinking skills and prepare them for positions of leadership. Our school atmosphere encourages understanding and appreciation of individual and cultural diversity. Our parents and extended families are integral to the spiritual and academic development of each student.
  • Big Brothers Big Sisters Santa Cruz County

Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that pairs children in need of a friend and mentor with a volunteer. They spend time together in the community, and gives the child the opportunity to form a bond with a Big Brother or Big Sister. This mentor is there to support the child through fun, caring, and listening. It is amazing what just a few hours twice a month can make a huge difference in a child’s life. We are proud to support the BBBS mission.

  • Capitola Art and Wine Festival

The Capitola Art and Wine Festival is an annual event in late Summer and early Fall in Capitola Village. Local vendors come together at our beautiful beachside town to share their crafts and wines with the community.

  • Capitola Public Safety and Community Service Foundation

The Capitola Public Safety and Community Service Foundation is an organization dedicated to ensuring the safety of Capitola’s residents and visitors. Their efforts include: community outreach, crime reduction programs, and partnering with the Capitola Police Department to encourage community-based police work.

  • Capitola Begonia Festival

The Begonia Festival has been Capitola’s biggest annual party for the past 60+ years! Every Labor day weekend, residents and visitors flock to the beaches to enjoy events like the sand sculpture competition, begonia float parade, a horseshoes tournament, and much more. All activities are free and family-friendly. This festival is being replaced with the Capitola Beach Festival, which will be held at the end of September.
